Yes, a joint cin-cin would have been amazing – not to say that I won’t accidently end up in Rome or Greece – it’s been known to happen – doesn’t take much to twist my arm…  Closer would be warmer and with the colosseum in the BG, well – that would be fantasical… 

That ‘pulp fiction’ one is real – I’ll send you some more from the same shoot.  I am just gearing all up for Baja and feel like I am running out of time, but SO HAPPY that I had my 1st full day with out crutches and with my bike!!!  Tomorrow I am sneaking out to the 2nd beach pool for a couple laps and sun (it’s outdoor right on the ocean) – would be fun to share that with you and a bottle of Red in the early summer sun.  hee-hee!

Enjoy the start of an incredible summer!  I look forward to your mails and will picture you at my side under the sun, jumping into the ocean, making certain that my eyes are blue…  you would find them to be grey, green, blue, gold and then I would kiss you before you could tell me that…

Hi Mr T…  I just wanted to correct my website addy – Not much on

it now as I am just testing a different method of
delivering my site – in prototype phase right now.

I would be very interested in meeting with you and sharing your
experience of filming that piece for Ms D.

I am filming a low budget feature length film and have used practical
locations and lighting on a past short film and would like to carry
that over into this feature.  I would have some questions about the
gear you used to film with as well as some sound advice.

As I am from Calgary – would also be looking for a shooter.

Ms D thought you would be a great starting point and after seeing
the video, I had to agree.

Mr M…  ok, now you are just KILLING me…  your words are so beautiful and
you paint an amazing picture…  thank you for that – will make today
so much more fun and wonderful.  kiss for that…

I agree – I went through a phase where it felt like there was so much
I was missing while working and if I thought of these other places, I
would be sad and longing for their culture and warmth…  Now, I still
have that, but it has changed to a calm knowing that it is a part of
me and these places are with me where ever I go…  as it sounds you
have come into the same…   coo-does.

Then to add the brilliant conversations and vintages to that?  I
imagine a beach after sunset, a bottle of red, a small spread of
cheese and crackers.  Stars above, the sleeping sun still glowing on
the horizon.  We could easily talk for hours…  but I know we would
succumb to each other’s eyes, lips…

ok…  now I am completely distracted from ANY work thoughts…   grrr….

I will send you more pics from my laptop this weekend when I am in Vancouver.

A little help?  Is there a cool little hotel / suites that you would
recommend in or south of San Diego?  I would need something for the
30th – maybe somethign crossed your path that reminded you of that
great night…   I would have a glass of red, watch the sunset and
drink with you under the stars in my thoughts – again for one night…

Dear Mr. Montie…

I was dissappointed to learn that Ms. Aircanada is relocating
from her position as the hostess to the Maple Leaf Lounge.

Her service and energy was refreshing and welcomed.

I commute between Calgary and Vancouver, flying Air Canada, and visit
the Lounges prior to departure.

the last month, I travelled with a broken ankle (had surgery) and on
my visits through both lounges, found Ms. Aircanada’s compassion and
customer service remarkable and unexpected.
I do find most Air Canada representatives maintain a admirable level
of customer service, but Ms. Aircanada went above and beyond her regular
duties to assure my comfort and dignity as most of my travel was via a
wheel chair.
It wasn’t until my travel last wendsday afternoon, traveling to
Vancouver at 2:00pm that I had a leveler as to the range of Host
service provided at the Calgary Lounge.
Ms. Aircanada was not the hostess, another woman was at the post…  and
was left feeling like I was an imposition and something (not
someone…) that was an inconvience – the complete opposite experience
warmed by Ms. Aircanada.  One is already quite low (both emotionally and
physically) in the wheelchair, and to have the experience of being
‘looked down on’ by a hostess, was…  well…

I have travelled thorough Air Canada Lounges internationally and
again, have been pleased with the gerenal operations.  With Ms. Aircanada
scheduled to leave her Host position, I am dissappointed and know that
her presence and professionalism will be missed by all travellers.

I am selfish in asking that her transfer be reconsidered, but know
that I am not the only passenger that would ask for her transfer to be
reviewed.

I do only hope that the Management at Air Canada has not overlooked
the role Ms. Aircanada assumes in exceptional and unexpected customer
service, representing the quality service that Air Canada strives for
to keep it in the forefront of passengers mind to maintian loyalty
with one air carrier with some many carriers available at competing
prices.

I am one of those travellers, loyal to Air Canada because of the
service.  Ms. Aircanada held my dignity and made the last 4 weeks of travel
a special experience.  This I will remember – that one visit will not
tarnish the whole, but I do hope that your quality of service is not
being sacrificed.

Booked my trip to the Baja 500, the Dakar Press conference.  Ran into
a special effects guy whose director friend is looking at a “rally car
script based on a race in Northern Africa ” the Dakar, of course.
Very curious of the angle that script took.

Saw my surgeon last night – fast tracked me, walking now, and no
crutches in 6 days.   aahhh!!

Looking forward to hearing how things have been for you!  I would love
to talk with you in person some time this weekend, forward me a good
time to call.

A couple weeks count down till europe 4 you!!  woo-hoo!

I love flying out here, really lends 100% focus to both worlds.  There is no compromising when I get on the plane.  And I have been meeting so many GREAT contacts that are truly interested in my goals and person.  definately worth the time and $$.

Setting up a site for the flick / company that is blog based.  Just  easier to maintain and direct people to.  Will be setting up a page or something for ‘donations’ / ‘$$’  where these people I keep meeting can help with the budget.

other than that – Long weekend to sleep and write and swim (oh, yah, week 5 and I am weight bearing, next week = no crutches = Baja 500 with no crutches, but cool ‘scar’ for picking up men….  ;->   evil girl on the prowl!!  hee-hee.

I just have a bit that was putting me through San Diego and into Ensanada Mexico for the Dakar Press Conference before the Baja 500 on May 31st…  was hoping you would be up to
being a partner in crime (or at least in wine…)

thank you for such great words…  I liked the way you thought then and I still like the way you think now.  Very refreshing.  And I liked the wine, the kisses were definately much more enjoyed…  ;-)

Ms P, how’d things wrap this week with the $$?  I am busy writing my little heart out on the sport flick!!  Friday deadline….

Last night met with one of my leads, Mr M….  

1st night out with the leg, I had to leave by 10:30, was just getting too busy and too dangerous – all those swaying bodies!!  hee-hee.  

Mr M just got union status, so I  will have to treat the project more formally, including paying union actors $50/day (which they will invest back into the film as AssProd’s) and include a budget and schedule – all the formal doc’s – Which is good anyway – I have most from last year, just need to update them.  

Start formalizing a team instead of my ‘by the seat of my pants’ approach I was looking forward to…  

Ladygurl Rule #11:  Keep your pants on.

If I am going this far, I might as well approach some individuals for some $$ and get some of the gear to make it the best it can be with minimum in.  Maybe pay some to crew a well…   Start the search for a DP and…  well, figure out when start of principal is…  not next weekend like I’d hoped…
